In the fall of 2010, we began to learn about Pheology and the environment. With help from a local environmental guru, John Latimer (Minnesota Phenology Network, KAXE Phenology Report), we've been making observations, learning how to track the development of local flora & fauna (plants & animals) and how we interact with the environment.
Various projects have arose as a result such as, observing different animal tracks, weather patterns, plant growth and development, dissection of small animals & bone structure and birch bark crafts.
